Agile Sky Residence Donates 2,000 Helmets for “Keep Cool, Keep Safe” Road Safety Campaign

Agile Sky Residence and the Naki Group jointly hosted the “Keep Cool, Keep Safe” campaign to encourage road safety and prevent head injuries caused by traffic accidents in Cambodia. The event which gave away 2,000 helmets took place at Agile Sky Residence Sales Gallery, located at No. 456, Preah Monivong Blvd (93). on November 8.

Director of the Bodyguard Department, development partners, students, media, management and staff of both companies attended the event.

Mr. Wang Bo Cheng the Marketing Director of Agile Naki Property Co., said, “More than 2,000 helmets were donated to schools, police stations and associations in Phnom Penh. We are committed to work with the government and all relevant stakeholders to ensure road safety”.

Lieutenant General Touch Naroth, director of the Bodyguard Department, said public-private partnership is an excellent way to promote road safety awareness in the Kingdom. “We highly appreciate the utmost effort and support from Agile Sky Residence to promote road safety and for encouraging authorities, and Cambodians to be responsible in using helmets because more road accidents happen as our city expands.” He added that the donation of the high quality helmets will help to reduce road casualties and will boost Cambodia’s program to promote the use of helmets. “Together we will raise awareness among our people to protect themselves and others by inculcating the habit to strictly follow helmet regulations,” concluded Lieutenant General Touch Naroth.

“Today’s event is an important drive towards reducing road casualties. We aim to increase the use of helmet among road users, advocate for mandatory use of helmets for passengers, including children, and also implement school-based helmets safety programs,” explained Mr. Wang Bo Cheng when commended for the campaign.
